Update:Denice and I have lived in and around the Atlanta area for the past 15 years. We have two children, David(5) and Rebecca(9), who keep us very busy with all of their extracurricular activities. Denice has been a stay at home mom for the past 9 years. Since graduation, I've been involved with the financial end of various businesses. I am currently working for the Southern Company, one of the largest electric utility companies in the world. Worked for the San Diego Blood Bank until 2/98 when I accepted a position at the Central Kentucky Blood Center her in Lexington, KY. It was tough leaving San Diego, but my wife's family is from St Louis and mine is in Alexandria. We wanted our children to be closer to the relatives and we are in an ideal spot to see both families often. We usually spend our 3 day weekends in either St Louis or Alexandria. We love it here in Lexington but I am starting to pick up that southern drawl I thought I left behind in Charleston. Update: After graduation, I went to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York (upstate near Albany) and got an M.S. in Physics. More important than that, I also met Cynthia... We both moved to Virginia as I started working for the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Virginia. Its a great place to work. I've been working on various parts of the Aegis Weapon System its fulfilling for me to see the parts of those cruisers and destroyers I personally have made better. Hopefully, they all will only have to do well in simulations and test events and not the "real show". The Navy also allowed me to get another M.S. in 1989 from Virginia Tech in Computer Science -- a pretty nice deal. Cynthia and I have three children: Jennifer, Stephanie, and David. I hope to see my old friends at the 20th reunion.

Update: Since September 1, 1998, I've been assigned to the Air Logistics Center at Robins AFB in Warner Robins GA. Having completed 10 months in Avionics Management (mainly airborne and ground communications support), I recently took on the responsibility to manage all C-130 modernization programs and supply support for over 1500 aircraft (and support systems) worldwide. Pam and the kids (Emily-16 and Andrew-13) have settled into our new home and are still adjusting to middle Georgia as we've spent 9 out of the previous ten years up north in Dayton OH and Boston MA. Update: Something very strange has started happening the last couple years in regards to running into Citadel Allumni..partly due to the Information Age and the other just must be fate. I've got two Class '80 classmates at Beale AFB, Tony Stone and Rick Osmun. "Spike" Gentile '81 T Co is also here. We get together and have "Knob" Coon '97 prepare mess facts and set up dinners. Recently, Billy Smith '80 started a N Company email address with about 8 of us sharing info. I also ran into Lt Col Dave Corin '80 in the hallway of the officers club at Lackland AFB on a work trip this year. Last year at the Naval War College in Newport RI, I got to live near Gary Durante '80, Chris Glaze '79, and Dave Hampton '78 on the Narragansett Bay at Fort Adams. Lots of good times in that year partying, golfing, and eating lobster/chowder. I've been married 10 years to a very nice and loving Italian girl from Chicago. I'm very thankful we have two very good children, Marcus (8) and L! yall (5). I'm still having fun after almost 19 years in the AF and 12 moves. I plan to stay for another 7 years or until they quit promoting me, and then retire at Kiawah SC. Oh yeah, John Ellsworth (Laurel MD), my Cid roommate, also has a lot there and we plan to aspire to running a "bait and tackle" shop.
